Our take
I picked up the Ninja BL780 as a blender that also handles some food processor duties. The 64-ounce pitcher is huge, great for making big batches of smoothies or soups. It crushes ice easily and the two blades do a decent job chopping nuts and pureeing veggies. The three speeds plus pulse give good control. However, it's primarily a blender, so it doesn't slice or shred like a dedicated food processor. The pitcher is tall and may not fit under all cabinets. Cleanup is tricky because the blade assembly is fixed in the lid, making it hard to rinse thoroughly. For $90, it's a versatile machine for blending and basic chopping, but if you need precise slicing, look elsewhere.
